Growing and Changing

These past few months have been a challenge for many of us.  COVID 19 has taught us many things and has forced us to make some radical changes.  One of our biggest changes is that we have moved to a new office in Exeter which is bigger and better.  In our new building, we have room for Derek and Matt to work in and see clients in.  This does mean that we will be closing our Guelph location on August 25, 2020.  Matt will be seeing clients in Exeter with Derek.

We know that for some this is not happy news and for that we apologize; it is however, something that will improve our business in the long term.

Our new location is 496 Main Street South, Exeter, Ontario.  Our telephone and email address remain the same.  We look forward to serving our clients from this new location.

I Just Do It!

Here are few words from Emily….

” Hi there, just a quick note to thank you again for my wonderful “new fingers” as my family calls my two splints. I’ve only had them a few weeks and I can’t believe the difference they have made. Within minutes of putting them on, I felt the difference. I am now knitting, cooking, using my hands in millions of way that, until I got my splints, required careful consideration and attention to avoid pain. Now, I don’t think twice. I just do it! I find I’m sleeping better, the ache in my hands is gone and I don’t constantly wake up. The splints are as comfortable as wearing a ring and I just am amazed at the difference in my daily life. Thank you again! “

It Was a Happy Thanksgiving

For 2015-10-12 16.04.29many, this past weekend was filled with enjoying a traditional meal with mashed potatoes and apple pie.  In the past, preparing both of these dishes have caused me to endure achy, sore thumbs long after dinner is finished and forgotten. I am happy to say that this year was a Happy Thanksgiving as I was able to prepare both dishes with no lasting aches.  I am so happy with my thumb splints.  I do not need them all the time but when I do they are wonderful.

London Walk to Fight Arthritis

Arthritis Society Walk to Fight Arthritis

Digisplint is a proud sponsor of the Walk to Fight Arthritis in London on Sunday, June 7, 2015.  Come join us for a 5km or 1km walk that raises funds for The Arthritis Society.  We will have a booth at the event to meet with you and to answer any questions you may have about the splints we build.

The Walk to Fight Arthritis stretches across Canada to unite families, friends and organizations to achieve one simple, common goal: help the over 4.6 million Canadians who live with arthritis every day.

Registering for the Walk means you join a passionate community that is determined to build awareness and raise much-needed funds for arthritis research. Fundraising also permits The Arthritis Society to keep providing vital programs and services that enable people with arthritis to live well at home, work and play.

Join the movement – register and begin fundraising today!  This year’s goal is to get 500-600 participants involved and raise $100,000!  With just under 13 weeks to go we are well on our way to reach our goals!

Occasionally we receive an order from different geographical locations other than good old Canada.  Federica in Milan, Italy recently sent us these photos along with a special note…italy 1

Good morning Derek, today my splints have finally arrived and they suit perfectly.

My mom and I really want to thank you very much for all your help and all your patience.

Thank you again,

Federica and Giovanna”
