Here are few words from Emily….
” Hi there, just a quick note to thank you again for my wonderful “new fingers” as my family calls my two splints. I’ve only had them a few weeks and I can’t believe the difference they have made. Within minutes of putting them on, I felt the difference. I am now knitting, cooking, using my hands in millions of way that, until I got my splints, required careful consideration and attention to avoid pain. Now, I don’t think twice. I just do it! I find I’m sleeping better, the ache in my hands is gone and I don’t constantly wake up. The splints are as comfortable as wearing a ring and I just am amazed at the difference in my daily life. Thank you again! “

Texting with her new Digisplints….
For many, this past weekend was filled with enjoying a traditional meal with mashed potatoes and apple pie. In the past, preparing both of these dishes have caused me to endure achy, sore thumbs long after dinner is finished and forgotten. I am happy to say that this year was a Happy Thanksgiving as I was able to prepare both dishes with no lasting aches. I am so happy with my thumb splints. I do not need them all the time but when I do they are wonderful.
Meet Kristina, or at least her thumbs.
Kristina came to visit us in the office this summer to get our new Dorsal Splint. This splint will keep Kristina’s thumbs from collapsing and will allow her to do the everyday tasks she needs to do.
Digisplint is a proud sponsor of the Walk to Fight Arthritis in London on Sunday, June 7, 2015. Come join us for a 5km or 1km walk that raises funds for The Arthritis Society. We will have a booth at the event to meet with you and to answer any questions you may have about the splints we build.
The Walk to Fight Arthritis stretches across Canada to unite families, friends and organizations to achieve one simple, common goal: help the over 4.6 million Canadians who live with arthritis every day.
Registering for the Walk means you join a passionate community that is determined to build awareness and raise much-needed funds for arthritis research. Fundraising also permits The Arthritis Society to keep providing vital programs and services that enable people with arthritis to live well at home, work and play.
Join the movement – register and begin fundraising today! This year’s goal is to get 500-600 participants involved and raise $100,000! With just under 13 weeks to go we are well on our way to reach our goals!
